Vancouver's Alan Matheson has played many gigs in Scandanavia, and is a fan of things Finnish. The accomplished jazz musician's newly released Intrada is a gem of 12 laidback jazz pieces, including 'Sisu', a piece dedicated to the Nordic spirit and the great saxophonist John Coltrane.
